A plain-language overview of how BabyCam handles information.
Last updated: August 18, 2026
Information and external services
BabyCam does not provide user accounts, comments, saved setups, or contact forms. Google Analytics, configured through Google Site Kit, measures site use. The BabyCam theme records an affiliate_click event when a visitor follows one of its configured Amazon affiliate links.
The affiliate event contains only the retailer name, the general setup type, a coarse page placement such as the header, setup finder, or guide article, and the public page slug where the click occurred. It does not add names, email addresses, IP address fields, link text, destination URLs, form answers, or custom user identifiers.
Standard hosting and WordPress services may process limited technical information such as an IP address, browser details, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Retention and processing depend on the active hosting and WordPress configuration.
Amazon and other external links
Links to Amazon and other third-party websites take you away from BabyCam. Those services may collect information, use cookies, and apply their own privacy policies. BabyCam does not control their data practices.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. An affiliate link may allow Amazon to attribute a qualifying purchase to BabyCam.
Cookies
Google Analytics may set first-party analytics cookies when analytics is enabled. WordPress, the hosting platform, and security services may also use cookies needed to deliver, measure, and protect the site.
Your choices
You can leave the site, avoid external affiliate links, adjust browser cookie controls, or use privacy tools supported by your browser.
